Welcome to Redbridge Community School

We are Alex Hoyle and Emily Bell and we are proud to lead Redbridge together as Co-Headteachers.  Between us, we bring 36 years of experience at this school, across a wide range of leadership roles.  More importantly, we bring a deep love for Redbridge – its students, its staff and the community it serves. This is a school we know well, believe in wholeheartedly and are incredibly proud to call home.

Emily leads on curriculum, teaching and learning, ensuring that classrooms are places of high expectations, strong knowledge and great teaching. She is passionate about every student accessing an ambitious curriculum and leaving Redbridge with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to open doors for their future.

Alex’s focus is firmly on pastoral care, safeguarding and inclusion, making sure every student feels safe, supported and genuinely known. He brings warmth, consistency and an unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of every young person who walks through our doors.  Together, this balance allows us to combine academic ambition with a strong culture of care – because at Redbridge, both matter deeply.

We are fortunate to be supported by an exceptional Senior Leadership Team.

Stuart Ramsey leads on curriculum, ensuring our offer is ambitious, coherent and well-sequenced across every year group and subject area.

Sarah Winner supports teaching and learning and personal development, helping every student thrive both in and beyond the classroom – academically, socially and personally.

Simon Waterson leads on behaviour, creating the calm, consistent and purposeful environment that allows every student to learn and every teacher to teach.  His work ensures that high expectations are lived out daily across the whole school.

Laura Streeter leads on inclusion, working tirelessly to ensure that no student is overlooked or left behind, whatever their starting point or circumstance.

Rich Taylor leads on data, keeping us forensic and focused in our support for individual students – turning numbers into meaningful action.

Becky Missouri, our dedicated SENCO, ensures that students with special educational needs receive the expert, personalised support they deserve, working closely with families, staff and external partners to make a real difference.

Clare Wall-Bradfield, our Business Manager, leads on the operational and financial management of the school, ensuring that our resources are used effectively and that the school runs smoothly day to day.

Sarah Morris, our HR Manager, supports the recruitment, development and wellbeing of our staff team – helping us to attract, retain and look after the exceptional people who make Redbridge what it is.

We believe in doing the fundamentals exceptionally well – high-quality adaptive teaching, calm and consistent behaviour, strong attendance and genuine care for wellbeing.

Our vision is simple: to build a community where every student is known as an individual, challenged as a learner and supported as a person so that every young person leaves us ready, resilient and with their potential fully realised.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
